When fans produce small-scale magazines focused on their interests/passions, the result equates: Fan + Magazine = fanzine, often shortened to zine. Anacortes has been blessed with Jimi Sharp’s decades-long documentation - in great detail - of the local music scene. To assist our efforts on the Music of Anacortes exhibit at the Anacortes Museum, we asked Jimi to summarize each issue and create a list of the people featured in The F.I.B. over the years.

Above photo: 07 FEB 2025. All Published Issues of The F.I.B. ‘zine gathered together for the first time because Bret Lunsford requested information and suggested compiling an index of participants, who is featured in each issue, and a summary of topics covered. That’s a tall order.

Here are descriptions of the first four issues of my fanzine, The FIB.
